Jim Clark is still building some on a limited basis here in Owasso OK. Check his out his website. Beautiful lacquer bodies and great tone. Sonny Curtis, JD Walters and Gene O'Neal among others were Clark players at one time. You can google Clark Custom Guitars and get more history and indepth information about them. They played great and have very short pedal travel. He also winds his own p/u's.
