Behind That Locked Door pedal steel lesson. George Harrison

Post by Josh Yenne »

This is the steel break from All Things Must Pass's "Behind That Locked Door"

Sorry Started a bit out of tune but the released recording of this tune lies somewhere between G and Ab so not quite where you expect it!

Pete Drake on Steel.

Easy yet effective little break.

Hope you enjoy!

Hey Don,

See you live in Willits.. one of the projects I'm doing is a George Harrison tribute and we do All Things Must Pass in its entirety straight though (minus the Apple jam at the end)

It is KILLER band of some of the bay areas best players.. full 10-12 piece band with horn section etc.

Only one show on the books right now but I hear of a gig potentially up Healdsburg ways that would be pretty easy for you. I cop all those Pete Drake lines, take some of the guitar lines, and most the string section lines on my steel.

ANyways... great albums, challenging music, and damn fun to play.

just check out my website to find it if you're interested and definitely come introduce yourself if you make a show!
