Idea for Database, Please give your opinion.

This may already exist. If it does please steer me toward it. Is there an on-line list or reliable steel repair shops world wide? I may be traveling overseas in the next few months and I am scared that something is going to break on my steel that I won't be able to fix. If such a list does not exist surely one could be created. I am starting to tour more regularly, and such a list might prove to be very valuable if something goes wrong when I'm away from home.
What do you guys think?
