Yes, that is Jerry Byrd, the singer is Goldie Hill. Jerry recorded quite a few sides in the 1960s with Nashville stars of the era, incl. Dick Curless, Hank Cochran and Billy Walker. The original version of "Charlie's Shoes" featured JB heavily but they decided to record another version w/o steel and Billy doing the whistling part instead.
