Can I get some feedback on my playing?
Hello, my name's Andy. I'm a 22-year old steeler.
I recorded some pedal steel over a backing track I found online and was hoping to get some feedback on my playing from you forum members.

I agree. Good place to start from. Your getting a good tone and pitch is good.
The first advice I give any new player is to try and play with no bar vibrato. I hear just a bit too much bar shiver, but way less than what I hear from most newbies. After learning how to nail the pitch with no vibrato then let it creep back in, but more as the note is sustaining rather than at the attack point.
Keep it up. You're on your way.
