sacramento singer, songwriter, and all things country died this morning. dennis was a major part of the heart and soul of country in the sacramento valley. we all loved him and had played with him over the past 50 years.
much in the vein of merle haggard, dennis kept true to his love of the song and the country tradition. a true gentleman and pro entertainer.

had a good country band with great players………a sad day indeed

I remember a Dennis at the old Howdy Club on Franklin Blvd. But maybe not the same guy as this was around 62-63. But this guy was real good.
