Country Gospel, Ronnie Lee Hurst

Post by Marcus Provis »

I was recently contacted by a vocalist named Ronnie Hurst, who was wondering whether I would be keen to play some steel for him in one of his Gospel songs.

He had been searching for Country Gospel, and came across my channel on Youtube.
I haven't done this type of thing before, but I thought it would be an interesting venture, although I was rather nervous. Ronnie put the whole thing together, with his daughter joining him with some vocals and he played the guitars etc. I played my steel part then sent it to him, and he edited it all.

We played the great Gospel song What A Friend We Have In Jesus.
