Nice! The name of the tune is "Debbie's Song" from one of those old Flying Fish LP's. I don't recall the album title at the moment but will dig it out a little later for you. What a super picker and down to earth Christian gentleman.

Thanks for posting this. I play the tune but after seeing the video I will need to relearn it using the correct positions. :lol: :oops:

Doug Jernigan has been a master forever. His playing still amazes me just as it did the first time I heard him play 44 years ago! I've learned so much from Doug, some of which he doesn't even know he taught me . Doug is one of the best & kindest persons I've ever had the pleasure meet.

OK, I dug out the album this morning. Doug recorded "Debbie's Song" on the Roadside Rag LP in 1976. It was written by Gary Adams. Lots of good tunes on that one.....I am off to the home office now where the USB digital turntable is connected to a PC. This one deserves to be in the iPhone/iPad library. Thanks for bringing it up.
