Blessings
Joan,
Though we seldom saw each other, Joe and I had been friends for a long, long time. I will surely miss our talks and conversations we had together,
May God Bless and Comfort you in these times.

Joan,
I am so sorry to hear this. When I was diagnosed with PC ten years ago, I called Joe. He provided much insight and comfort. I will miss him.

Joan, I am so sorry for your loss. I know that Joe was so proud of you, and mentioned you often in his posts and emails. My heart goes out to you at this sad time in your life. May God richly bless you in your grief and in all the days ahead.

Bobby,
Joan needs some help packing up Joe's steel, when she sells it. I told her I would help if I could. If she has to ship it, she's going to need a box and some advice on how to ship it. She may contact you. Just giving you a heads up.

Dear Joan:
I am very sorry to hear this... Joe was my first teacher here in Houston. I had been off steel for almost 20 years, and had forgotten most of anything I knew by then. I learned a lot from him.
I still have some notes from our earlier sessions, going back to right after I got my Remington 12-string. He got me sorted out right away working on fundamentals, chord grips, and helping me to get around on the wider neck.
I lost touch with him over the last few years, unfortunately.
With my deepest sympathy,
James M. Cross
