I was thinking it might be Shot Jackson and Buddy Emmons but the time frame is not right...think they had their collaboration some years earlier.

Dobro player is Uncle Josh Graves, with Gene O'Neal on steel. The track comes from the 1980 album "King Of The Dobro" on CMH.

That was a good one, Walter ! Really enjoyed trying to put a name on the steel guitarist...and Gene was a giant taken too soon !! I'd enjoy hearing Uncle Josh take a break on Funky Monkey...
