I have a Western Digital 160GB external hard drive. It comes with its own separate external power supply (Input: 100-240VAC@47-63Hz, Output: 12VDC@2A). The power supply input cord has an ON/OFF switch. The drive is wiped, formatted, and operates perfectly. The drive model number is MDL: 1600B008-RNN with S/N: WMAEK1142201. Google the model number to see a complete description and specifications. This drive can be used as an external backup drive. I used it for a short time as an external backup drive. It can be permanently connected to a USB2 port and the line switch used to enable or disable it. Maybe some one can use it. I'll ship to the CUS States for $35.
