A little help?

Post by Michael Robertson »

At meter count 240 “The Moon” starts a ride and at the very beginning of the lick (just before the camera is on him) so far has eluded me.
If anyone could help me with this I would appreciate it.
The rest of the ride I’ve got but the beginning is not quite correct.
Thanks

Michael,
maybe you can post some tab of what you already got nailed?
I can help you out I think, but it would be good to know exactly what you are looking for

The pickup sounds like a quick AB hammer on at ten before jumping to 13 with AF:

[tab]4 10 13F 13F 13F
5 10-10A 10 13A 13A 13A
6 10-10B *13-11-13* 13 *13-11-13*
* You can also use a G lower lever here and stay on 13, but he is sliding this in the vid.[/tab]

Maybe I'm making a fool of myself,
but isn't he playing the C6 neck? that pick-up line can be played @ fret 14, no pedals or lever

1----------------------------------------------------------------
2------------------14-------------14----14-----------------------
3 ------------14---14-------------14----14-----------------------
4--12-12/14-----------------------------------------------------
5----------------------14/13/14------14-------------------------

but you can do about the same on the E9:
@ fret 10, as CR said,
or sliding into fret 15, with the E-D# lever engaged, starting on string 7

Moon had his E9 on the back neck. His front neck was an extended g dobro type tuning
