Hi Dennis
Many thanks.
This one goes back a few years, I recorded it using my friend Keith White's Rains guitar.
He has a George L type E66 on this. It is a good sound direct into the recording suite on the iMac straight from the volume pedal which as you can see is a Hilton. We both use Telonics now. I prefer the George L type 10-1 personally as I don't add any EQ with this type. I think I always roll off a little top end EQ when playing his steel as it is a tiny bit brighter I seem to remember.
It was recorded 'live' and I added a harmony in choruses.
It is Shania Twain's STILL THE ONE of course.
It's on my Angels CD here..

I haven't played the steel for a while as I have been crippled up with back pain but I am on the mend now, and I have so many ideas. I will have to get practising and get something new uploaded to YouTube soon.
You've re-uploaded it.. My original posting is here with all the comments etc..

There is no need to re-upload any in the future, a link to the original is fine, cheers.

Cheers Dennis
I apologise Dennis, I thought it was your YouTube upload.
Perhaps someone re-uploaded it as a birthday present for me on the 13th...
Anyway, glad you liked it. My username on YouTube is davepedalsteel. Search for that for all my videos to date.
And many thanks to all who have watched them.
I've had over 10,000,000 views on my videos, which is much appreciated, especially with comments and requests too.
I will be blowing the dust off the guitars soon, I hope, to do some more recordings.
