Laptop H/D in desktop?

There is no problems whatsoever using a laptop hard drive in a desktop computer.

If the laptop hard drive is an older and slower Parallel ATA type, make certain that your desktop computer motherboard also supports this drive system.

Conversely, if the laptop contains a newer SATA or SATA 2 system, the desktop motherboard must also support that system.
