William, the new look is awesome. And the sound is even better than before. I don't know what or how you and your team are doing it, but its working!

Thanks for the excellent instruction and for providing a fine, unique facet of the community for players and enthusiasts of all levels to explore.

William,
Where is the cat cam going to be? :D

I like the clear view of the pedals. You're doing a great job!

Thanks for a great session today William. Learning "Funny How Time Slips Away" has been a highlight of my 14 month journey on the steel. That's one of those things that will only get better with time. Much like your stream! Sounding and looking great.

Carl, the Youtube thing may depend some on your internet or bundle provider. Some are a little inconsistent when it comes to live streams, but that can also be resolved by waiting an hour until its over and then just playing the video of the proceedings.

I can't recommend these weekly sessions enough. Over the last 6 weeks I've gotten about 500% better. I'm not just learning licks, I'm learning how to play this thing, get my own vibe going. Playing along to the backing tracks is challenging, but that is the bridge to playing with a band. It's a lot of fun on this end, and I think that's cause it looks like William's having fun on that end.

I have Hughes internet and once in awhile I can watch a short video.
Normaly I can't, but usually I can download them. If I use 100MB in
a day, I get shut down for 24 hours. I have to download big files in
the early morning from 1 to 6 without any restrictions. William's file
is over 200MB and it can't be downloaded, so that leaves me in the
same spot I'm in, of doing the best I can by myself. :\ :whoa:

This week Steel-In Techniques has an Amber Digby intro worked into the proceedings.
Thanks for taking my vague request William. There's a lot of Overbey to go over on those recordings!

We had four.

Here we are. Alan Rudd on the left with his Emmons SKH. Paul King in the back left with his Emmons LeGrande III. George Ashmore at the back right with his MSA Millinnium 12 string, and me with my MSA Millinnium.

OH yea. William Latiker is there also with his Emmons. He's the guy in the computer that looks to be about 10 pounds overweight. :D :) ;-)

William, You really want to have fun? Come on down to Texas and we will line up a jam at Marks house or close to him. Just 4 guys getting together and playing around on our steel guitars was a lot of fun. Next time we will get a band and jam.

That'd be a lot of fun, having some guys over pickin along to William's stream; especially when they have those kinds of steels! So far it's just me and my cat, watching William and his cat.

We had a blast. I wish we could do it this weekend too.
Heck, every weekend for that matter. It is well worth the $5 that William charges for this much time. I have a friend giving a lesson today, and he charges $50 for an hour of Universal 12 string. $5 is very inexpensive for what you get with William.

Hey Will. Thanks again for putting this out there on youtube. Definitely the most well spent $5 I can think of. The combination of the video, the tabs, and your explanations continue to open up the possibilities of the E9 neck for me. I look forward to each week!
