I just buried my HP computer after suffering from a long illness. I had BIAB installed on it and I wanted to change to an Apple computer. Question is, "Do I have to buy a new BIAB for Apple or is there some way I can convert my existing program to run on Apple?"

Andy,
You would have to buy the crossover upgrade, but the Mac version of BIAB is not as good as the Windows version. It lacks some features that I find important. I use Mac in my studio for everything except BIAB. One option is to buy a used laptop from Craigslist, etc... What I did was buy a new Toshiba laptop at Best Buy on sale for $259. I use it to create the BIAB files and then if I'm going to use them to record with, I render them to wav files, or save them as midi files that my recording software can understand. It sounds complicated, but it's really easy to do. Good luck!!!!
