Here is a couple positions using the 1st and 2nd string of a descending major scale... though it might be a good thing for some beginners out there...

Thanks for the exercises, Josh. I am getting decent going up the strings, but really need the work going down. It's hard to get fast and stay clean in that direction!

Keep that hand moving up and down those strings... its hard to get good blocking on those 2 high strings, takes some good technique!

I agree that descending is harder... at least it is for me!

I do a great St-St-Stutter Step. I can stay on meter and everything :lol:
