New IPod 5 problem with laptop

Well, my daughter got a Ipod 5 and I let her charge the thing on my both of my laptop computers. Now both of my laptops will not connect to the WiFi internet. Both computers are saying to reset wireless network adapter, adapter not found, access point not found. I've tried resetting the adapters,but no luck. What in the world could have happened? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter told me today that she reset the router password. That was the problem,not the ipod itself. Sorry.
