So sorry to hear about Joe's passing. I knew him a long time, and I'm sorry to say I only saw him a few times in the last couple years.
He's probably cutting it up with Cliffie right about now...

Leo, I'm sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I knew him for a lot of years... He used to laugh when Lou Martin would sing Haggard's "The Old Man From the Mountain".... Where the tune said "Get rid of Joe the Grinder", ol' Lou would substitute "Get rid of Joe the Barber"....... RIP Joe....JH in Va.
Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!!

Yeah he was a real character. I don't know how he did it but it seems like he was at most of the gigs I ever played in Southern California for the past 40 years.
