Billy Spears, legendary fiddle player from Lawrence Kansas,died last Saturday (7/6). He was a great fiddle player and a wonderful man who will be missed by all who knew him. There will be a memorial celebration at the American Legion in Lawrence on 8/10. Here's a link to the story in the Lawrence paper.

Rest in Peace my friend,I guess the good Lord likes a little fiddle playin to.I can still hear him singing Mean Woman w/the Green Eyes.
