Just heard on the TV news that Slim Whitman has passed away.He was another one of the greats.Anna and my prayers go out to Slim and his family.

I was lucky enough to see Slim in the UK a couple of times and he was probably one of the first singers that started my interest in country music and steel guitar. A totally unique voice deliverd in such a relaxed style. A true legend.
