I would guess the people involved in building the first pedal steel guitars couldn't possibly have imagined the use of the pedals reaching this point. Palousek is one of a kind. Wow! Thanks for posting, Don

A big thank you, Bill. Steve is another one of my all time favorites. As Don said, he sure makes full use of the knees and pedals. I can't really describe the sound (sort of an extremely pleasant "smear"???) - there's an awful lot going on in the background when Steve is arriving at notes from above and below. I remember Jeff Newman telling us once "you paid a lot of money for those knee levers and pedals - use them!"

I have learned to expect this level of playing from Steve. I think he uses some chorus in his sound. How about the out of this planet 6 string from Randy?

Thanks Bill for posting the video. Steve is a great player for sure. However, my last trip was in 1991 and I am sure I saw him play there before. At any rate Steve is awesome.
