Hank Williams Clone, possibly Don Helms or a Clone on Steel. Did Hank Williams die before 1954 ?. Western Swing Bands on the West Coast did not encompass the H.W. Style or his type of voice. We played a lot of the Songs he wrote but not in his Style ! I know I will catch H__ for saying this but chalk it up to my age, almost 84.
