Janne Lindgren Passes

I've just recieved news that Janne Lindgren, probably the most revered steel guitarist in Sweden has passed away this morning. On my last visit to Sweden, my good friend Sven Kontio and I were invited to his home for dinner. We spent several hours reminiscing about his career, and his life. I was astounded at the size of his collection of LPs that span the entire history of country music, literally thousands upon thousands of them.
Janne was a true gentleman, and I am honored that I am able to say...he was my friend..Eva, our prayers go out to you for your loss, which we all share....mickey
