According to Hook Moore on the Doug Jernigan Facebook tribute page, the name of the tune is "Lily of the Valley"

I have a good quality recording from a show by him, done in Newbury, at Gerry Hogan's Steel Guitar Festival. I can copy it on a cassette for anybody that's interested. Just e-mail me through the Forum.
