Jack Williams - Robbie's Barn in Goodlettesville

If you ever were in the Nashville area and went out to Miss Robbie's Country Music Barn on a Friday Night then you know what a swingin little joint it was. Always a big crowd with good country music and good Steel players sharing the stage and having a great time. In fact, that crazy LeRoy Troy from the Marty Stuart Show got his start at Robbie's many years ago.
Jack Williams, the late Miss Robbie's husband passed away Saturday 3/23/13 following a lengthy illness. Miss Robbie passed away herself just last year and Jack's health had been declining over the past few years.
Rumor has it that Robbie's will now close permanantly after this coming Friday and the property is gonna be sold to settle the estate. Many of the folks around here do appreciate Bruce Chambliss, Joyce, & Little Joe for stepping up to the plate managing the Barn after Robbie died. It was always a neat place and we're all gonna miss it!
