Help, my BIAB sounds have all disappeared!

Post by Jim Cohen »

Don't know what happened but I just opened BIAB and all that plays are the drums, no other instruments. (They're not turned off.) I have a feeling I might have accidentally deleted the audio driver or something or other when I tried to make more room on my hard drive. Here is the Audio-Options menu. Can you tell what I have, or don't have, that might be causing this problem? (Obviously there's nothing listed there for midi input driver, but is that necessary if I'm not using midi? Or is BIAB somehow always using midi?) Thanks!
Jim

Mine is the same except I use Microsft GS Wavetable Synth,
Plays fine, & I use Coyote Forte for my sound card, if you still can't get it going try a return to Factory settings.. something may be muted.

Thanks for the help. I did the re-set, which didn't help but then I picked Coyote Forte and that did the trick! I don't even know where Coyote Forte came from; is that something that installs along with BIAB?

Anyway, thanks a lot!

Yes, but it has to be purchased separately . Maybe you purchased it & didn't remember . Forte is really good sounds.

I had the same problem, Jim, and Coyote worked as well. I use Coyote in getting the Midi piano to sound like a Steinway via the Garritan Jazz and Big Band software, too.
