This is a video I made this past weekend. This was not a band, but more of a jam with players from several different bands. Some nice non-pedal work from Bobby Black....

Thanks Kermit for this post! You guy's have a great sound. Bobby play's some mighty fine steel guitar. I was a lost youngster(15)when I met Bobby and had quit school. I was playing a flat top writing songs, singing in bars.I played my brothers steel Fender cable some in early years. I met Bobby in the local music center in Victoria TX. Thats were I heard the finest steel playing ever. He tought me lessons and helped me get my own steel guitar. He was like a wise man to me and got my full attention. I would ask Bobby to hot foot it some. And that was enough insperation for me to practice on my new steel alot. I heard Bobby was going to be playing a club nearby. I think the name of the group was "The Moods of Country Music" I sneeked in the back door to listen. Man! WoW! Bobby sure did play some steel! I sure thank Bobby for teaching me and helping me. I stayed home alot more with Mom and Dad and practiced, and practiced and stayed out of trouble some. It's really wonderful to hear Bobby play in your post Kermit. Thanks again.
and God Bless.
