Original New Age Arrangement

Post by Michael Barone »

It’s been a while, but I thought I would post my progress after 8 years of steel practice about an hour a day. I’m now getting my home studio organized after entering retirement from public education last year.

I created this New Age arrangement some time ago, actually as background music for a power point presentation. It took a while to find the arrangement on the E9th fretboard, allowing the E9th copedent to characterize the song. I just call it “World City Steel” for now. I put a lot of time into the steel practice, and it’s still a work in progress with pitch and tone.

The signal chain is Carter S10 with Tonealigner through an Echo Park Delay (very little dark delay) to NV112 to Mbox into Pro Tools.

World City Steel

Comments are welcome.

Michael, that was really cool. Nice to hear a new direction for the PSG.

Hi Mike! :D (Barone)
Eight years?  It sounds as though you`ve been at this all of your life! Like a duck to water! A beautiful job. Your arrangements are superb, keep up the good work, I`ll be listening! Be blessed!
