What a fantastic player Jimmy was. He sure was unique and refreshing with the style he had. I never realized he passed away on January 27th which is the birthday of Buddy Emmons.

Jimmy Day

Post by Carolyn Hockaday »

Jimmy was a real friend to me.
I made the scene on lower Broadway in 1971 at the age of 21.
Thought i was a lead picker at deman's den.
Until Jimmy took me under his wing.
He showed me the right way, and I'll never forget It.
Thanks Ol' Buddy.
