Does You Tube have a fee?

Post by Don Euton »

My speakers on my HP 6710 PC computer quit working a couple of weeks ago, while I would click on any of the Forum`s You Tube links. I bought two new JBL platinum speakers,to replace the ones I had, thinking they were bad. I have since discovered the speakers work on everything but You Tube links, on and off the Forum. I have never download or upload on You Tube sites, so I did not think a fee was required. I get the picture fine, but no sound. Does anyone know if it is some setting on my computer needs attention, or if I am suppose to sign up with them?

You definitely do not have to sign up with them or pay any fee to them in order to get sound.

Thanks Jeff. I did not think there was a fee involved.

Unmute and/or turn up the Youtube sound toward
the left and just below the video area of Youtube.

Thanks, Russ. It was muted and I unmuted. It still won`t play on You Tube. The speakers work. I have Flash Player 11.5 502. 135 installed. I may try to reinstall the program.

Don, did you try moving the slider below the video window to increase the volume?

THAT DID IT ! Thank you Andy! I had to inlarge the window and hunt for the control. I do know how it got changed in the first place. Now I can listen to some beautiful steel music.
