New Clip of the Week 12/30/12

Post by Walter Stettner »

Good Morning and Happy New Year!

Last clip for this year is a tough one, I admit. It comes from an obscure album, recorded in the 1970s. Here it is:

Enjoy the music!

Kind Regards, Walter

Definately L.E. White and Lola Jean Dillon. They were friends of mine. From the sound, I'd think that was John Hughey on that cut, and it would make sense because of L.E.'s association with Conway during that time, but I have the album and it says Jim Vest.... who has always been one of my favorite players also.

L.E. wrote a bunch of number one songs for Conway.

Wow! As I said before, this one wasn't easy. I would have had problems with the steel player (sounds a bit like John Hughey), but with your expertise.... :D

Happy New Year, Walter
