Here is another wonderful collaboration between Leanne and Paul Franklin (with The Time Jumpers - 2011.) I love this version of Rose Colored Glasses. Paul's steel work is so perfect on this. To me this trumps the original ( my taste of course ) with the modified time signature and the steel featuring so prominently. Also, where John Conlee did the original in a key that pushed the upper limits of his vocal range, Leanne keeps it low and sultry which works perfectly for her on this song. Love it!

Not sure what you mean by that Bill. I like the stripped down feel, particularly on this tune, the original of which left me cold. I'm gonna buy me this CD.

I love Leanns style, that must be why I like Martina so much too. They are alot alike. I hear alot of Patsy Cline influence in there.
