"You Make Me Smile Again!" Bishop R.P.Hall

Post by Bishop Ronnie P Hall »

Hi everybody! :D
Well, here we go again! In this time of hurricanes, snow storms, power outages, hunger, struggles to re-establish etc. I would ask that we would take a moment somehow and find a reason to be thankful for what we do have in spite of what has happened. Just to stop, and see a reason to smile. Here are a bunch of reasons to "smile", and please remember the words of an old song that says "I`m so glad that trouble dont last always". To the Eastern coast, we are pulling for you! Be blessed, and "smile"! And guys, and gals, this one is`nt about the music, it`s about the meaning! :)

Hi Don! :D (McClellan)
Glad to hear from you. Thanks so much for your encouragement. Style? Who me?? As I have said so many times, to me it sounds like somebody choking a cat!!! Naw, I`m just kidding. Thanks, I know that I probably (do :P ) play differently from the traditional steel players on this forum, but if we all played the same way, it would be pretty boring around this forum. The way I play had it`s beginnings in the pentecostal church, and developed into what we call "Sacred Steel". Most of us play by ear. Not all, just most. So that touch and talent?, is what you hear. I`m just thankful to play anything! Thanks again, I appreciate your support. Be blessed, and the warmest greetings to your family.

Hi Del! :D (Grace)
You know when I did this video, I guess it was needed behind what "Sandy" did to humanity, up and down the eastern shoreline, because we as americans are survivors, and re-builders etc., and we never give up in the face of adversity. We just need to "SMILE" to relieve the tension, and recognize what the worth of our struggle is all about. So just "SMILE" again, and say "we`ve been here before!!!!" Thanks again, for the encouragement. Love to the family...

Hey Rick! :D (Barnhart)
Glad to hear from you, and glad to know I bring a smile to you, because that is what I am all about. I think that there is too much sadness in this world, but just one smile, can make the world a better place. I know it is a dream, but it is a good one. Thanks again, stay in touch, and best of greetings to your loved ones!

Hi Charles! :D (Pompe)
Thank you so much for your encouraging, and certainly "kind" words. When a person can bring at least a smile to someone, they bring "hope" also. No matter what has happened, there has to be some "hope" in there too! I am hopeful that those of the forum, who had relatives on the eastern shoreline, would say to themselve," I had it once, I`ll get it again" and then "smile," because their "hope" and "faith", will spring to life. :) Thanks again, for your encouragement. Warmest greetings to your family. ;-)
