I enjoyed that! And lo and behold, that was our own Steve Smith being wooed by the black Mullen G2. Wonder if he ended up buying it...the look in his eyes makes he think he either did or will. :)

Some very beautiful playing by Chuck Lettes too which, I think, well represented our community.

Absolutely wonderful. I wish they had stated that several states have their own shows as well.

I grew up in St. Louis, got my first Les Paul at Scotty's long time ago. Never thoght back then when I was a raging Black Sabbath fan that I would be playing one of those exotic instruments that seemed like the spawn of a mad wizard.

It was good, for what it showed. But it was obvious that the reporter had no idea about his assignment. It could have been much better.

PBS (I think that is who it was) did a clip on the ISGC years ago (the one with Buddy Emmons commenting about the "Mother of all steel shows") and that was much better than this one. I didn't realize what was happening at the time, I was standing next to Little Roy Wiggins talking to him as he was tuning up for his segment and if I would have stayed there another minute I would have been in the segment on Little Roy.

Thanks for posting, loved it, but I agree with Jack it could have been better, maybe more emphasis on the show itself.

I'd have to say, for general public consumption, the piece was pretty well done.
