"Poinciana"

Played on a Clinesmith lap steel, tone to die for, if I do say so myself. Through a Sano tube amp, mic'd, no effects.

Straight C6 tuning.

Mike, I dug it. This is one of the first tunes I tried after a 30 year lapse. I soon gave it up and went back to "I Love You Because". I need to learn it correctly. Your clip helps.

Really beautiful, Mike.

Wonderful steel-and-drums duet.

Great playing, great tune, great sounds.

Thanks.

That's beautiful Mike, a joy to listen to. I'll bet Ahmad Jamal would like this version. Thanks for sharing your Poinciana with us.
