Andy Williams RIP

Post by Alan Brookes »

Andy Williams passed away yesterday at 84. Although he wasn't a steel guitarist, several of his recordings featured the steel guitar, especially his Hawaiian albums.
Kirk Eipper wrote:A fellow named Bruce Windham use to be his guitarist and musical director. Does anybody here know of Bruce or what happened to him? He was a brilliant musician and I have lost touch with him over the years and would love to re-connect with him if possible.
KE :?:
Brad Bechtel wrote:My friend Tish Diaz played keyboards for his show in Branson for many years. I got to see him perform once - he put on a great show for his age, still hitting all the notes.
Kirk, is this the Bruce Windham you seek?
Terry Wood wrote:My family and I went to see his Christmas Show at Branson, MO about 3 years ago. He was just fabulous!

Well, I want to share this too that for his Christmas Show he never charged admission for children that were 16 years and younger.

He was very polite and a professional all the way!

Next he was a Christian! I read his biography and everyone should read it. He shared his love for GOd and how he got started singing in church as a boy.

GOD be with his family and friends!
Archie Nicol wrote:...Post memories and favourite tunes. His music is what we'll remember.
Arch.
