Hello Again! My Fellow Steelers
As always, I was invited to attend and participate in the "Sacred Strings Showcase" in Toledo, Ohio. This year it was held on Friday the 24th. and Saturday the 25th. of August. This video was filmed by my wife during the proceedings of Saturday afternoon. As usual for me nothing ever seems to technically go right. But as they say, "The show must go on"! Anyway,to the best of my ability, here is a improvised portion of a melody that I had played some years ago in a revival of all places . The sound quality is not as it should be, but the meaning is there. Enjoy! By the way, watch the saints break out in a dance around 5:00- 5:50 or some where along there! Ron
Hi Wally! (Taylor)
Thanks, I really wish the video, and it`s sound, could have been better, but such as it was, it is!
Bro. Del Grace had a professional videographer there, but I guess he, the videographer has not finished the touches on the final product. But when he does I expect that all the problems will be corrected. So, until then, my homemade video will have to do. So thanks my dear friend, your encouragement means a lot. I`m glad you enjoyed it! Ron
Hi Tommy! (White)
Thanks for the observation. I wish I could take the credit for all of the joy that was experienced, but you, and I know differently! It was a powerful moment. Too bad, we only had our home video camera, the sound, and video quality was not up to snuff. But the blessing was there anyhow!
Thanks again, for your encouragement! Ron
Crowbear!!! (J. Schmitt)
My man! Always glad to hear from you! I wish you could have been "live" with us there, but I know your heart was. Thanks bro. As I have said, the video and sound was homemade, but I expect a pro video to follow soon. When it does, I, or Del Grace will post some of it, I`m sure. Till then.....
Thanks bro, much love. Ron
Hey Brother Ron, That's super good pickin' as usual.
Sure had a nice bunch of folks to play for, and you
know they were really enjoying it. All the clapping
and dancing sure makes you put your best it and adds
to the great pleasure of playing at shows like this.

Another Great Job Ron... I don't believe it could have been Any Better, That was the Real Deal Live,,, It is obvious that Everyone there thought so too. Just wish I could have been there with you. I'll be looking, and listening for your next Offering.. Take Care, and God Bless...
Hi George! (Brown)
It is always good to hear from you, my brother and friend. Thank you for your words of encouragement, they mean much to this old man . I really wish you and your family could have been there, it really was a joyful time. But, you should have seen that behind the scenes Tornado! Nothing was going right, especially for me. Equiptment failure, lost picks, not knowing what to play or present. I tell you, as we say in one of our songs, "If it had not been for the Lord on our side....Where would we be!" Never the less, a good time was had by all! Cant wait for next year! Thanks again my friend and brother, the best to your family, be blessed! Ron
