Four In The Morning With Rhythm Track

Post by Greg Cutshaw »

This is the first song I ever played out professionally. It was on a Wheeling based show with Crazy Elmer, Hylo Brown and New England Country Jimmy Stevens. We're on a flat bed truck in front of a thousand people and Jimmy says "kick it off, kid". Luckily I knew Faron's version quite well.

Hear It!

Hi Greg, You did a fine job on that good old classic. :)
I haven't heard that in many years and never played it.
Thought I'd like to try it, and I downloaded your track.
After working on it until after midnight last night, I can
play it, but you wouldn't want to hear me play it.
Thanks for all the work you do to help others get better.

Greg,
I will second what Carl said. I've downloaded several of your tabs and tracks. Most helpful and I know that you put a lot of time into this, thanks so much for sharing!

Great playing as well. I'm gonna give this one a try tonight when I get home!

Thanks

Thanks Carl and Mack! I spent about 5 hours on this tune from charting the arrangement to actually mastering and converting it to MP3. And most of that time was spent practicing and playing the instruments which is fun! The 3 part fiddles were played on an NS 5 string electric violin through a Princeton Reverb. It's has nowhere the great tone of a real fiddle but its easier on my ears which I greatly protect nowadays.
