Jimmy Webb on his push pull

Post by Dave Harmonson »

Jimmy is great treasure to the Seattle-Tacoma area.
Here he is at Shotgun Red Hildreth's 80th birthday party in Tacoma yesterday. Shotgun still picks great straight up country licks on the Tele.

I had him back me once, makes you want to sing country music like Merle or something. Great player.

Absolutely Larry. I wish we would have had the camera going when he was ripping it up on the C6 neck.
I've had the pleasure of playing guitar with him many times and it always a real treat. Great player and super nice man.

Dave,

Thanks for posting that, I'm sorry I had to miss it due to a previous engagement.

Jimmy still sounds as smooth as ever!

That is a sweet klip, nice stuff goin' on there, I'll have to set my guitar up and do some as we say steelin' of licks. Really good work there.
