Lloyd Green's Midnight Silence

My take on this superb instrumental ballad. Not as smooth as David Hartley's, but working on it!

Thanks Ransom. Tried to fix it, it's just a little off at the start and the end, not too sure why. Might be time to get a real camera!

ah, that was beautiful. I really like your sound. If my situation ever warrants another steel, I think the Sho-Bud LDG would be my ideal choice. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of amplification are you using, Alex?

Thanks Daniel. I use a Nashville 400 with an Eminence EPS speaker. That being said, I record with the amp's preamp out straight into a tube preamp. No mics, no effects. Then I add a little reverb and delay in my recording software. The cool thing about this setup is that I can record with a live amp using the amp's reverb, but the recording is dry, which is better for mixing.

Being a reverb junkie, the situation you describe has been something I've wrestled with in the past. Great suggestion. Thanks, Alex.
