RE: Bobby (RIP) and Linda Caldwell daughter Angie obituary

Post by Debbie Johnley Glaub »

The late Bobby Caldwell and his wife Linda lost their daughter Angie in a fatal car accident Friday, August 24 in Fenton,MO. Am asking for prayers for my dear friend Linda and her family. Angie and her son Owen moved in with Linda 3 years ago after Bobby passed away and has been Linda's caretaker. Angie worked for the DegRaff Hospice home at St. Anthony's hospital in St.Louis MO and had been in this line of work since she was 18 years old. She was an angel on earth...

Beloved mother of Owen LaRue; dear daughter of Robert (Rosalie) Long and Linda Caldwell; dear sister of Tina Long, Rebecca Bell, Lori Lorentz and Robert Caldwell; dear granddaughter of Lucille Bucy; special friend of Jennifer Counts and Keith Kimberly; our dear sister-in-law, niece, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend. Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Wednesday, August 29, 12 noon. Interment Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the benefit of Owen LaRue, in care of Linda Caldwell, Robert Long or Christina Long (care of Commerce Bank, 10185 Gravois Rd., 63123) appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, 4-9 p.m.
Blessings to each of you

linda, tragedy sometimes just follows good folks. bobby has been a friend since back in the seventies. besides our outlandish guitar and steel habits, he was always asking and telling of family activites. with your wide family, and friends, and faith, it can be reckoned that none will ever be alone. you are among the gathered. your loss takes us to our deepest thoughts, ken newman and family.

Debbie, this is sobering news - so hard to wrap my mind around such a tragedy. Give Linda our love, and let her know that we are among the many who cradle her in prayer tonight.
