Here's something I recorded today that thought a few of you might enjoy. It's the beginning of Wagner's "Prelude to Tristan and Isolde". At about two and a half minutes, I start to wander off into an improvisation.

If you've seen Lars Von Trier's movie, "Melancholia", this piece (which I can't get out of my head) is the theme music.
I hope you enjoy it
and
thanks for listening.

Excellent, Susan, the Tristan prelude never fails to tear me up. You hear that music, and you just know something heavy is about to come down.
