Some Home Recordings

Post by Henry Matthews »

Here is a link to a few songs that I did at my house about a year or so ago. These were recorded on a Roland VS-2480 recorder using Band In A Box tracks.I muted the bass and played bass and steel and fiddle on them. Most of these are Connie Smith songs and my humble attempt at copying one of the greatest players, Weldon Myrick. Some of these were done with a Rains Guitar, a couple with an 80 Model P/P and a couple with a Zum Hybrid. Hard to tell them apart.

The singer is Gena Roberts

Hold Me In Your Arms was written by Chuck Cousimano and was later put on a CD by Gena.
That kind of Guy I think was recorded by the Twitty Birds. If anyone knows for sure, let me know. Their version was That Kind Of Girl.
Hope ya'll enjoy.

Thank you for sharing.
