Losing Ron is a tough loss. He was a friend to all musicians in Western Michigan. Played good pedal steel and all without a thumb on his picking hand. Too many memories. Adell motel in Muskegon, Mich. where Mike Jones would stay when on the road with Billy Martin. Ron was always visiting at the motel as I also had a room there. Rest in peace Ron. I will really miss our regular talks on the telephone.
