Sorry to hear about Sonny's passing. I used to play gigs with him at the Nashville West.
Man, this is depressing...the gigs I did with Sonny were with Dave Karp & Dick Fegy - both gone - and I was subbing for Dennis Jeffries - also gone.
And so is the Nashville West.

Vaya con Dios, Sonny.

I'm also sorry to hear of Sonny Ray's passing. He was a good guy, and a good drummer. RIP.

Oh man this hurts. I played with Sonny for years just as a lot of you other L.A.cats have. I use to love his Rod Stewart Hay stack hair in the day. God Bless you Sonny R.I.P.

So sad to hear this. I've played a hundred gigs with Sonny at least. That kick of his was a canon! God bless a solid guy and great player!

Oh man. I just told the wife yesterday that I was going to call Sonny. The last time I talked to him was at Nicks funeral. I lost track how many gigs with him. The perfect gentleman who loved his family. RIP good buddy.
