Beautiful "outside of the box" version of this standard. Love the tone of your guitar. I forget, do you play a 'Bud?
Sho-Bud Pro II Custom, GFI Ultra SD-10, Fender Pro Amp, Fender Mustang II Amp, Morrell 8-string lap, Epiphone 6-string lap, Galveston reso, etc.

Lynn, I'm glad you liked our version of that song. As for the steel guitar, I usually play an older MSA, and for this project I had been hoping to use a Sho-Bud - I love the tone of those guitars and am sometimes obsessed with the tone of Lloyd Green - but on this song I was playing an old Emmons push/pull.

When I first posted this song, I didn't post the whole song. Here is the tune in its complete form - a medley of "Wayfarin' Stranger" and the slightly more upbeat tune "Rocky Top". I hope you will enjoy this version.

Cool arrangement, Susan. Looking forward to hearing you play at the Denver Steel Show in July.
