Looks cool, but I find myself thinking, what would I ever use this for? Is it just the novelty? I think it's too cumbersome to actually "play," like if I were trying to work out real parts for a real song and wasn't near my instrument. Has anyone on the forum tried it? Thoughts?

I agree, it is interesting...but the tone does not sound pedal steel at all to me. More like Acoustic with a a pickup.... Maybe the problem is it does not show a black steel?

I use it to demonstrate what the pedal steel is and does.
