Deep Water --- YouTube ----->

Post by Doug Beaumier »

Here's a short, basic version of Deep Water, C6 tuning, 6 strings only for this arrangement. This will be in my new lap steel song book... 25 More songs for C6 lap steel. It should be ready in about 10 days. The CDs are finished and the book is going to the printer in a couple of days. Thanks for listening... 8)

Thanks guys! I'm not using an amp. I patch the guitar into a Black Box - volume pedal - reverb - into the computer.

That was beaut Doug.

I have just the one version of Deep Water - it's the 16/10/47 Bob Wills recording (in Chicago) with Herb Remington. Unfortunately Herb gets just an 8 bar solo, and some fill ins.

It's good then, the hear the complete tune, just on steel - and in Bob's key of F - those C/G changes in the bridge really set off this number nicely.

cheers,

John
