New Clip of the Week 04/22/12

Post by Walter Stettner »

Wow,

Thanks guys for already missing me. I just came home after spending Sunday out of town.

So here is the new clip for this week - the instrumental version of an old Floyd Tillman classic, with some great non-pedal chord work:

Enjoy the music!

It's not Jerry Byrd and Noel Boggs, but you are not too far away. The player is one of the Western Swing legends and of course a member of the SGHOF... :)

I sense some pedal useage. I will guess Bob White. Excellent tone and touch ! It is not Noel Boggs.

The player is the great Herb Remington, from his late 90s album saluting Floyd Tillman. Don't know if it is still available, but if you see it somewhere, grab it, you won't be disappointed! :)

Kind Regards, Walter
